HOW MUCH TO BUILD A PREFABR CONTANTEEN CONTAINER HOUSE?
The cost of constructing prefabricated container houses varies depending on size, materials, configuration, interior finishing, and engineering requirements. Larger models, custom layouts, higher-grade steel, insulation, air conditioning, complete plumbing and electrical systems, and special solutions designed for mining, military, or government camps will all increase the total investment. Other costs may include transportation, on-site installation, foundation, and certification. To provide an accurate quote, we need detailed information such as size, layout, materials, facilities, quantity, and destination.
HOW TO BUILD A CONTAINER HOUSE?
Prefab modular container houses fall into four main types: demountable, flatpack, folding and expandable ones, each designed with distinct structural features for diverse application needs.
Site Preparation
Select a flat and solid ground surface. A concrete foundation or brick plinth is usually required to ensure the stability of the modular house and prevent settlement or water leakage.
Base Frame/Skeleton Installation
Assemble the bottom frame structure in accordance with the drawings. Connect the bottom beams, corner fittings and other components with bolts, and calibrate with a spirit level to ensure the diagonal error is within the allowable range (e.g. ≤3mm).
Wall and Roof Installation
Assemble the prefabricated color steel panels or wall modules to the frame piece by piece from bottom to top. Ensure the buckles or connectors of each panel are firmly engaged, and secure them finally with self-tapping screws or rivets. Proceed to install the roof structure thereafter.
Door, Window and Finishing Work
Install door and window assemblies, and apply waterproof silicone sealant to all joint gaps between panels and between panels and the frame—this is a critical step to prevent water leakage.
Inspection and Site Cleaning
Finally, check that all connectors are fastened and the structure is stable, then clean up the construction site.
