The project posed unique challenges: Qatar’s harsh desert climate (45℃ summer temperatures, sandstorms), tight World Cup construction timelines, and the need to cater to diverse cultural and religious needs—all while complying with Qatar’s labor regulations on living space, hygiene, and safety.
We developed tailored modular solutions to address these needs. For climate resilience, we used 70mm insulated panels with anti-UV coating to reduce indoor temperatures by 12-18℃, paired with sand-proof windows and reinforced steel frames to withstand sandstorms. Energy-efficient AC and optimized ventilation ensured comfort, while emergency power backup prevented operational disruptions.
Each fully self-contained camp catered to diverse workers: dormitories (4-6 beds/room) met Qatar’s 6-square-meter per worker requirement, with storage lockers and charging ports. Halal-certified dining offered Arabic, Indian, Chinese, and Turkish cuisines, while dedicated prayer rooms (with qibla indicators) respected Muslim workers. Medical centers with professional nurses provided free first aid and health screenings.
To meet tight timelines, we used 85% factory prefabrication, reducing on-site work. Our certified teams completed assembly and commissioning within 2-3 months per camp, with no wet construction. 24-hour security, CCTV, and access control ensured safety, and regular inspections with authorities maintained compliance.
These camps exceeded expectations, supporting timely World Cup infrastructure completion and earning client and international recognition. They showcased our expertise in delivering large-scale, customized modular solutions—balancing climate resilience, cultural sensitivity, rapid delivery, and compliance—solidifying our role as a trusted global infrastructure partner.
